Design Academy Eindhoven alumni debut at Salone del Mobile, as part of Milestones exhibition.

Dario Erkelens: Abandoned Treasure

Presenting a broad spectrum of approaches to contemporary product design, a selection of alumni from Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) are showcasing their work at Salone del Mobile 2024.

The collective exhibition, Milestones, unites the DAE collective in their shared dedication to designing objects, showcasing their varied practices, which each challenging a different medium, subject and technique.

The exhibition's line up includes one of our Dutch Design Week Colour and Craft Picks for 2023, Samuel Szraga, as well as; Pierre Salaün, Willem Zwiers, Alexandre Delasalle, Dario Erkelens, Paul Gödecken, Nico Neves, Anna Oudhof and Ambre Pourcelot. Some adopt a pragmatic and systematic approach, while others prioritise beauty and poetic considerations in their processes.

Milestones also serves as a representation of the philosophy instilled at the Design Academy Eindhoven - celebrated for bringing together creative individuals with a genuine ambition to revive the manufacturing landscape through innovative concepts and production methods. Over the design week’s seven day duration, Milestones will unveil the designer’s upcoming products, deliver presentations, host events, and engage in discussions with Salone’s audience.

The exhibition strives to initiate exchanges with visitors, providing the alumni with a platform where they can promote their creations with the ambition to connect with the corresponding market.
