Camira launches its Colour Manifesto, in partnership with Luminary Colour & Style.

‘Humble’ Palette

Featuring timeless and directional colour stories, Camira has introduced the ‘Colour Manifesto’, in collaboration with future-thinking colour consultancy, Luminary Colour.

Created to aid interior design professionals in specifying fabrics, the ‘Colour Manifesto’ includes four distinctive colour palettes, including, ‘Deep Time’, ‘Humble’, ‘Reclamation’ and ‘Elemental’, alongside evocative narrative-rich photography, to inspire you with the latest colour insights.

Using Camira’s rich and varied catalogue of specifiable contract fabrics, its Colour Manifesto demonstrates how colour interplays with the surrounding environment and architectural styles, while reflecting the brand’s thoughts for new product introductions during its 50th year.

Commenting on the launch of the Colour Manifesto, head of creative at Camira, Lynn Kingdon said: “The ‘Colour Manifesto’ is a fantastic tool for design professionals or specifiers that are looking for colour inspiration. We hope the book makes it easier for specifiers to make considered choices as they enter the second half of the year. Summer is a time of reflection and relaxation, so we hope this tool will support them with how to blend different fabric textures and colours to create an enduring interior aesthetic.

“The ‘Colour Manifesto’ supports designers with colour schemes that will transcend time. Camira is not concerned with trends - we want to shape sustainable interiors that won’t go out of style. The classic color and fabric combinations, including our iconic bestsellers Blazer, Yoredale, Main Line Flax are influenced by nature and architecture and have a timeless quality to them that contributes to their elegance.”

Founded by creative director, Anna Starmer, colour consultancy, Luminary Colour has been guiding global colour direction for more than 25 years. The colour specialists collaborate with a wide network of dyers, creatives, and colour experts to research the future thinking that will shape colour and materials.
