Forbo Flooring Systems updates its Modul’up collection - with simplified refurbishment at its core.

Vibrant Modul’up flooring with diverse textures and colors, showcasing collaborative spaces and nature-inspired design elements.

Featuring vibrant contrasts for zoning, nature-inspired patchworks, and soothing stone and wood prints, Modul’up by Forbo Flooring Systems offers future-focused design solutions with simplified install.

Refreshed with a myriad of design-led patterns and colourways, the adhesive-free sheet vinyl collection, Modul’up - one of the most trusted products of its kind on the market - has been bolstered aesthetically and functionally.

Forming part of Forbo’s Fast Fit flooring collection, Modul’up equips designers with a comprehensive adhesive-free sheet vinyl portfolio, ideal for both healthcare and education refurbishment. Acoustic and compact versions help reduce installation time by up to 50%, allowing for twice as many classrooms or hospital wards to be refurbished at the same time.

Floors can be walked-on immediately after installation is complete, meaning disruption is kept to a minimum. The range also contributes to the material circularity of a scheme, with the flooring easily lifted up and reused or recycled at the end of its life.

Forbo’s Sarlon acoustic vinyl also forms part of this update. Its advanced acoustic technology ensures a superior sound reduction, and its robust construction delivers the "lowest residual indentation for an acoustic product".

With acoustic versions available for both Sarlon, and Modul’up ranges, offering 15 dB and 19 dB impact sound reduction, these products are ideal for busy or noisy interior spaces.

Both Modul’up and Sarlon will now be available in 81 colourways, comprising a series of contemporary woods, materials and concrete aesthetics. Created using Forbo’s innovative digital printing technology, each product promises a realistic and high-quality finish, with little to no repeated patterns on some colourways.

“We understand the heavy time constraints our customers and end users can face, especially when it comes to flooring refurbishments, ensuring that the building or interior space isn’t out of action for longer than necessary", comments Forbo’s head of marketing for UK and Ireland, Donna Hannaway.

“At the same time, we’re conscious of keeping up with modern design trends, providing the best possible solutions for projects.

“We’re particularly excited to be launching some of our new wood and material designs, which incorporate intricate and realistic patterns, with little to no pattern repeats, that can help to create some eye-catching interior schemes.

"For example, with this refresh we have new Shaped Wood designs, with an inlaid pattern in different colours, as well as Industrial Parquet, a regular oak design with a playful twist.”
