Inside Out adds a touch of Hollywood glamour to The Colony Club

It wouldn’t be a casino without an air of glamour and luxury exuding from every aspect of the decor.

When Mayfair’s members-only casino, The Colony Club, underwent a refurbishment, interior design practice Dakota House of Design turned to furniture specialist Inside Out Contracts for its expertise in crafting one-of-a-kind pieces for individual project needs.

As part of the brief, every room of the casino required a unique interior design, inspired by the people using the space and the variety of cuisine on offer.

To reflect this, a range of bespoke elements including sofas, lounge chairs, side tables and stools were designed and produced by the Inside Out Contracts team. Additional classic Italian designed pieces complete the space using plush fabrics and a rich colour palette in-keeping with the overall opulent design.

Fringing, a trend that has proved popular with designers from Milan Design Week to LDF and everywhere in between, is a key feature throughout. From coffee tables to lounge chairs, fringe adds texture and interest to the pieces.

Coupled with other on-trend design features such as marble tabletops, velvet detailing and repeat patterns, Inside Out Contracts’ furniture pieces add a touch of Hollywood glamour to the casino, giving it a unique and exclusive feel.

Following the success of The Colony Club, Inside Out Contracts continues to work with the team at Dakota House of Design for a second Genting Casino site, due to launch later this year.
