Masquespacio puts futuristic spin on 'waffle house' concept with the new Novu Waffle.

Avant-garde design studio, Masquespacio, has unveiled its latest project: Novu Waffle, an innovative gastronomic space in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Seeking to redefine the waffle house experience, a focus has been placed on fun and immersion, with the resulting scheme a dynamic and cheerful environment where the waffle is the undisputed star.

On first glance, the iconic waffle shape takes over the space. The façade and windows display a striking pattern that anticipates the interior experience. Once inside, an imposing central rectangle of bricks, evoking the characteristic waffle squares, dominates the scene. This cubicle houses the seating area, where the waffle theme extends to the tables, stools, and cushions, immersing visitors in the Novu Waffle universe. A yellow structure suspended above this area creates a vibrant contrast with the predominant blue in the space.

The ordering path, strategically located to the right of the entrance, guides customers around the central cubicle, culminating in a wall decorated with brand images and fun messages related to Novu Waffle and the art of enjoying a waffle. This carefully designed route ensures a complete and memorable experience.

"At Novu Waffle, we sought to create a space where fun is the main ingredient," says Masquespacio. "The waffle shape has been our main source of inspiration, and we have integrated it into every de-tail of the design to offer a unique and engaging experience."
