Mutina collaborates with OEO Studio to launch Accents to complement its most popular tile ranges

Italian ceramics brand Mutina has collaborated with Copenhagen-based OEO Studio to create Mutina Accents, a new range of furnishings and accessories to complement its tile collections.

Launched at this year's Salone del Mobile, the design "accents" feature furniture such as cabinets, shelves and mirrors; furnishing accessories including clothes hooks and towel rails; architectural elements that include panelling, skirting boards and space-dividers. There's even a range of paints in 20 colours with various finishes.

"OEO Studio has used Mutina tiles in numerous projects for the design and quality," says Thomas Lykke, creative director of OEO Studio. "Mutina were interested in our way of working with their products and how we combine these with other materials and textures. They wanted to see if we could create a complementing universe around the tiles – this led to the birth of Mutina Accents."
