We’ve gone full circle with this, years ago products were designed to last, they were built with quality materials and craftsmanship and workmanship and they were handed down like heirlooms almost. Then in recent years, sadly we’ve gone through a period of fast fashion, where we’re using cheaper materials and products and they just fall apart after five years. I think with the climate crisis clients are more aware of this and are more conscious and we’re more conscious in choosing these - Louise Grimes

She is a business owner of M1NT Studio Ltd specialising in retail, commercial, hospitality and accommodation sectors for leading global brands. She loves stakeholder engagement in defining strategies and evolving them into inspiring design solutions, expertly delivered.
As secretary for the North West C.I.A.T. committee, Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, she actively promotes Architectural Technology in schools, colleges and universities. Raising awareness in routes of progression and the roles within A.T. Every day is a school day for Louise, she thrives on reverse mentoring and continually extends her thirst for knowledge.
