Our latest exhibition: This Is No Longer Speculative - is now open at both Material Source Studio Manchester and Glasgow.

An evolution of our annual biomaterial round-ups, which we've published for the last 5 years, for 2024 we've brought the 24 bio and by-product based materials featured in our round-up to life, with physical exhibitions in both our Material Source Studio locations.

A showcase of leading material innovations for use in the interiors and construction sectors, This Is No Longer Speculative aims to highlight the abundance of solutions being developed to better the materiality of our built environment.

At Material Source, we’ve forever been passionate about championing those blazing a trail in creating thoughtful, closed-loop alternatives to the materials we depend on everyday. These 24, along with others innovating like them, are the change-makers we believe will push bio and by-product based materials from speculative to status quo.

Pop in and check out the exhibition at Material Source Studio Manchester and Glasgow, and when you do, be sure to help yourself to a limited-edition poster - detailing the entirety of the 2024 line-up. Whether you hang it on your wall at home or at work, we hope it proves to be a reminder of what’s possible, and of the direction in which we must collectively head.
