Over the past weeks, the world feels like it's returning to a form of normal - with favourite bars reopening and the opportunity to meet friends (in open spaces, of course).

With this also comes the temptation to fall into old habits; of rushing through the city on the way to the next meeting, without giving much thought to surroundings.

Inspired by his lockdown mantra, 'keep your pecker up', Tim Denton has collaborated with Standard Practice on the design, fabrication and installation of a series of uplifting signs around the NOMA neighbourhood in Manchester. The signs, made from birch plywood and Valchromat are a daily reminder to those passing through to take a moment and to notice the movements of the city around them.
