Wall&decò presents their extensive new Contemporary Wallpaper 2023 interior collection, divided into three inspirational mood-boards. The collection features 71 original graphics by Wall&decò's rich portfolio of designers.

The mood-boards which the designers took inspiration from are: Virtual Aesthetics, Cocoon and Post Metaverse. Wall&decò's designers have interpreted these initial mood boards into an unusual map of styles and colours. The designs on offer are trend aware and varied to fit into a wide range of interior schemes. The wallpapers are suitable for both residential and commercial use.

Wall&decò started in 2005 by Christian Benini, the founder and creative director of the brand. The company has a strong and innovative philosophy: no more repetition of patterns and geometries which are typical of traditional wallpaper, but enlargements and macro-images with a strong material effect.

Virtual Aesthetics

A digital universe that aims to be a futuristic celebration of the world: bright, optimistic and visually imposing itself through saturated colour combinations. In this backlit, fresh and playful world we look at colour in a new way, through powerful and impactful tones that enjoy a captivating vividness in technicolour.

Cocoon

An exploration at the opposite end of the spectrum, in which analogue rejects the digital by staging a world of materialness and extreme craftsmanship. The strictly natural colours and textures: earth, sand, terracotta and straw, define the luminous and inviting spaces of a domestic cocoon - the ultimate oasis of peacefulness.

Post Metaverse

An explosion of both the previous mood-boards, culminating in a distillation of nothing but the essential. Another reality and the stillness of a wordless world are conveyed by the absence of colour. Here grey takes centre stage, in an exploration of all its tones. Grey generates three dimensionality, as it is also made of light and metal.

The Contemporary Wallpaper collection is available on three different substrates: CWC, the Wall&decò vinyl which has an unmistakable weave that creates a precious fabric effect, Bronzage, the vinyl with a metal effect designed to add a new value to surfaces and to change its appearance when the light alters, and the sustainable CWC - ECO substrate.
